Hypnosis and Alcohol Addiction

ORLANDO, Fla.,Danny Jackson, CHT/08.04.2014 / -- Hypnosis is widely used as a tool to help people fight depression, anxiety and stress. However, in the past it has often been overlooked as a way of treating alcohol addiction. This method of helping people to defeat their alcohol addiction has been gaining credibility in recent years and it is used as a means of tackling addiction in rehabilitation clinics and addiction treatment centers.

When a patient is in a hypnotized state, it enables them to discover strategies that will help them to overcome their patterns of addiction; hypnotherapy helps to provide an approach to addressing the reasons behind the alcoholism.

The Act Now Wellness Center is one clinic that advocates the use of hypnotherapy for alcoholism. For more than seven years, the Act Now Wellness Center has been using hypnosis to help clients overcome addiction, and it has realized consistently excellent results. The center has so far achieved a 97% success rate – far higher than more conventional approaches to managing alcoholism.

In the seven years that the Act Now Wellness Center has been in existence, many people have benefited from the work of Danny Jackson, CHT and his team. In a testimonial to the work of the Center, one patient said:

“What I experienced as a result of working with Danny was for lack of a better word - AMAZING! My goal was freedom from the alcohol abuse which had become my reality. Through the hypnosis program that I underwent with Danny - I have found that freedom. It is certain - it is real- and it is permanent.”

The benefits of Hypnotherapy

One reason that hypnotherapy is so successful is because it can help retrain the subconscious mind, enabling patients to conquer their addiction habits. Hypnotherapy allows the awakening of the subconscious mind and encourages a person to make positive changes in their lives and modify their behavior, including addictive behavior. However, the power of hypnotherapy goes much deeper than that.

Some people drink because they are dealing with unwanted emotions rooted in their past; some turn to alcohol because they want to find a way to cope with stress. Each person has their own reason for turning to alcohol; hypnotherapy can help a patient to discover what their trigger is and find better, healthier coping strategies.

Moreover, hypnosis enables a patient to relax more deeply, and while in this relaxed state the patient is better able to understand the factors that contribute to their addictive behavior and alcoholism.

In addition, hypnotherapy can help patients in many other ways, such as helping to restore lost self-esteem, improve confidence, banish anxiety and help patients to better manage stress.

Hypnotherapy also offers a completely natural way to help curb addiction, while helping a patient to address and manage the issues that cause them to turn to alcohol in the first place.
